General

  • Is my security deposit refundable?

Security deposits are refundable after we assess and deduct for any damage to the apartment home beyond normal wear and tear. Please check your lease agreement for details about our security deposit requirements.
  • What are your pet fees?

We require a non-refundable pet fee of $300/pet prior to move-in. Pet rent is charged on a per-pet, per-month basis and may vary by community. Check your lease or billing details in the resident portal to see your community's pet rental fee.
  • Can I sublet my apartment to someone?

No, we do not permit short-term renting or subletting of any sort in our community. Homestay services such as Airbnb or VRBO are also prohibited.

Leasing

  • How do I apply to rent a Related apartment?

From our community website, click "Apply Now" at the top of the homepage, or from the floorplan information page. If you have any questions, our leasing teams are here to help!
  • Are there furnished apartments to rent at this community?

We do not have a furniture rental option at this time but would be glad to recommend some local third-party vendors.
  • May I schedule an appointment online to tour the property?

Absolutely. Click "Schedule a Tour" from any page on our website, and you'll see our available tour dates and times. Each community has a "show apartment." If you want to see a specific floorplan, reach out to the community team to confirm that a vacant apartment is available to tour.
  • Are virtual or self-guided tours available for viewing properties?

The "Floorplans" page of our website has virtual tours for select floorplan types. If you don't see the one you're looking for, check back — we're adding new tours all the time! You can also reach out to a leasing associate to schedule a live video tour.

Applications

  • Do you run credit and background checks?

Yes, we use a third-party screening service that looks at credit history, rental history, and criminal background. The screening does not have specific credit score criteria but flags items such as recent evictions, bankruptcies, felonies, and balances owed to previous landlords. Proof of gross monthly income at least three (3) times the rental rate is also required. Applicants with income between 2.5 and 3 times the rent may be considered on a case-by-case basis under fair housing guidelines.
  • Is renters insurance a requirement?

We require residents to have renters insurance with at least $100,000 in renters liability coverage and $10,000 personal content coverage. Residents are enrolled at move-in with our partner provider, and a fee is charged monthly with rent. Residents may opt out by providing proof of comparable third-party coverage.

  • Can management enter a resident’s apartment home?
